SCRABBLE Premium for iPad App Reviews

I paid my money for this game. Worked for a week. Now it doesnt. Cant get it to work. It just ate my money!!

Every morning, I wake up hoping Scrabble has fixed its connectivity issues. Nope, not yet.....????. When it worked, it was fabulous. Support is useless. It continues to hang up on the "refreshing games" screen, especially when it seeks Facebook players. Uninstalling and re-installing the game each session is a temporary fix, but is extremely frustrating.

The newest upgrade is awful, frankly. Movement on the board used to be smooth, now its awkward. Look is not an improvement either. I love Scrabble, but each upgrade gets worse. I remember waaaaay back when the dictionary would even provide definitions. Rethink!...a month later...gotten more used to the clunky new design, or more resigned. Sometimes, the board doesnt respond, sometimes letters go in wrong places. Scrolling through games was once easy. Whatever the new platform is, they need another. Update: some improvement but games allowed to linger with the other player not playing. I had to complain when in half my games a week went by, even more, without being able to nudge, or force a forfeit if Id managed to get a nudge cue. Now the same thing is happening again. Update: once again, games languish, no nudge prompt. Such a simple seeming thing, why cant they get it together?

I will upgrade my rating when the programmers fix whatever is going very wrong with the last update. This is my favorite app and I play every day with my sisters. The workaround is to delete & reinstall the game daily. :-( Updated app (4/10) still hanging up. Works for a short time after re-installing but then nothing. PLEASE fix it ☹️

I used to love playing Scrabble, but now we are getting lots of weird errors--games that wont connect, games with different scores on different devices, incorrect boards. Its getting very frustrating. We have had to delete and reload time after time.

For many months I have been getting a message that I have reached my game limit (with only one or 2 games open). I know that others have the same problem from forum chats. I have contacted EA several times and they say they are working on the problem. If my company couldnt solve an IT problem in 6 (or longer) months....heads would role.

I like a quite game of scrabble (no tinny game music), while watching a movie or listening to my own music, but the app cuts the volume of other apps significantly so I cannot hear music or movie dialogue clearly. Such a shame because game play is great.

Fun game! Works fine most of the time, except for notifications, which almost never work.

I do not like to trap the cord between me and the iPad, so am enjoying being able to turn it sideways.

I continue to have problems with words that have been played not being on the board later. I waited 30 minutes on hold for technical support but then the call was dropped 5 seconds after I was connected.i have removed and reloaded app many times

Pops up a reminder to tell me I havent played in a while. Let me play when I want, otherwise stay silent. A decent implementation otherwise. Begs for review and wont stop until it gets,one, so it gets a 1 star.

A few glitches, but overall very good.

Im sure you could develop a layout that works on both devices. Some of us do have both!

Keeps logging me out of Scrabble on my iPad. Are you aware of this issue? Are you fixing it? I need to delete app and reinstall constantly to play a turn. Please fix!

Absolutely love it, although spend too much time on it. The 4 rating is due to frequent technical problems. See below I do have, however, have some suggestions: 1. Provide definitions in your dictionary 2. Provide country of opponents (fun to know) Technical problems: 1. the game often freezes and has to be reinstalled. 2. Opponents boards occasionally miss the word at the center and the whole game has to be reinstalled.

This needs to be upgraded. Does not work with the latest Ipad version

Latest feedback 2017, a year after the comments following: I am more and more depending on sending bluetooth audio to sound bars or home assistants from the same device I am using for Scrabble. For some reason entering the Scrabble app interferes with, stops, or reduces the volume of the feed. 2016: One added point of feedback to earlier review: why bother with capitalizing the first letter of the word in the box for checking validity before playing the word? We cant use proper nouns, so why add the capitalization? This was added to the later versions; it didnt start out that way. Every upgrade seems to add annoyances, hindrances, obfuscations and takes away the little things like convenient placement of features on the board, the exquisite happy smile of the teacher, and others. I dont care to continue to "tell" it that I dont want to share, or play with random opponents, or even which dictionary to use every time there is an upgrade. The latest version dumps me completely out of the app every time I complete a game and ask for a rematch.

This app (paid version) is getting worse with east update... please fix it!

Why is the dictionary losing words? Words that used to be words in scrabble are no longer words. Also when playing against the computer, the player should be able to look up the definition of words used by the computer opponent. I wonder sometimes if the words it uses are even words?
