SCRABBLE Premium for iPad App Reviews

If you use Scrabble Premium on the iPhone and iPad, notifications only come through to the device last used, not both. This is extremely annoying for those of us who use both devices. It should not be a difficult thing to fix and is ridiculous that this issue has been ongoing for so long. Please just fix it. As someone who switches very frequently between an iPhone and an iPad, this is really very annoying, as it means I often miss notifications when I switch devices. None of my other apps notifications behave like this. For example, if I make a move on my iPad but then leave the house with my iPhone, leaving the iPad at home, I dont get any of my notifications on the iPhone unless I launch the app on there first. But since I only open up the app when I have a move to play (and get a notification), thats a problem. Also, notifications never come through on my Apple Watch at all, even though I have notifications for that app set to mirror on my watch from my iPhone. So please fix this for good. Ive been having notifications issues with this app for ages and its really making me not want to use this app anymore, as much as I love the game itself. The developer acknowledged that this is a known issue but it’s been over a year with no fix.

Paid 9.99 for this app to get no ads but there are pop ups to sell other games...ridiculous!, I want my money refunded... Not paying for anymore apps that’s for sure

When playing offline I used to be able to continue playing game a day or so later. when you selected “new game” it would ask if you wanted to continue old game. Now it still asks that, but when you say yes, it starts a new game. Why?

Once again you do updates and I can’t connect to server on the iPad. I just played friends all over the World on Words with Friends..no problem, so it is you, not my internet connection or equipment. I prefer scrabble as I have played for years, but I am getting tired of this. Why don’t you leave things that are working aloneness! FED UP

This game is awesome!

Ever since last update the music continuously plays during a session and I can’t figure out how to turn it off without muting my iPad. When I do this it also mutes the sound effects. Anyone know what to do?

App won’t load most of the time!

Scrabble is a great game. The iPad version is great for an old retired guy like me who can’t get around much anymore. It’s fun competing with random opponents to try to build your score to be the best that you can be. Great theory! However, the developers of this app need to be the best that they can be too if it’s going to work for everyone. Sadly, this app doesn’t work for everyone because it keeps crashing. Then you need to delete it and start all over like the true definition of insanity! I have the solution though. Fire the app creator and hire a better one that can produce an app that doesn’t keep crashing. As it is, it turns a great game with great promise into a useless pile of electronic waste. Get another job whoever you are. I wanted to rate this zero stars they wouldn’t let me. So the one star is really a zero.

Extremely well designed — particularly with how rapidly incorrect words & suggested best words are displayed.

Ive been playing this app for a couple of weeks. At first, no problem. Suddenly this morning, the app deleted all of my online game records and my Best Word online. After a while, only my first online game record showed up, along with my Best Word for that game. What happened to all of my online games? Even the 2 games I was currently playing in disappeared. Vanished. I was playing one computer game and one online game. They suddenly disappeared. What’s going on?

Hey! Squaw is a word. Its in the dictionary. Look it up. Im sorry you find it offensive, when used in a game. What I find offensive is a dictionary with words missing, on purpose.

I don’t know what has happened to a great game. Update this thing and get it working right please. I used to play this game by the hour with my friend. We have to log into this thing everyday like it is a bank account. It’s very annoying

I wish I could give zero stars. Jammed with ads and so much crap, you can’t play a game. This app should be removed from the store.

I do enjoy playing Scrabble HD, however it is constantly crashing and freezing! It wasnt like that in the beginning but have been in the last few months. I keep the app updated therefore I dont understand!

Why is there so little information available for this game? What exactly is origin? I don’t use or care to use Facebook, so I am wondering if I can ever develop a set of playing companions from the random games. There is a score for each player, but what is it and how is it determined? I like the computer opponent and teacher, but I don’t see that random games will ever be of interest. The random players I have been paired with are bare beginners. How do they pair people? As I play more will I get better player?

I always liked Scrabble. This game cheats making up words that are not in the dictionary. The game calls those words “Scrabble words”. What are scrabble words?

The Scrabble pop ups are very annoying.

I play ALONE against the computer AND it is constantly playing words that are not in any Scrabble dictionary. Example: “Vegas”, which is presumably a nickname for Las Vegas?
