Reminds me of words with friends format...bring back the statement of last persons move and points on top of board! love new "teacher" tile! 2017 update: Scrabble has added all necessary bells and whistles! Love this version!

Love the game when its working. Dont like the hang up or bugs that freeze the game. Will give a higher rating when all the kinks have been worked out.

Fun game, but I wish it would notify me when it is my turn.

I also get frustrated with the failure to connect and having to delete and reload the game, but I do enjoy playing when its worked properly

I wrote an earlier review about my frustrations pertaining to the March 21st update. It was obviously too lengthy or my anger was not accepted. This time EA you get only one star and you are not worthy of that for all that you have put scrabble players like myself through since the erroneous update. I have delete and reinstall my purchased scrabble game every single day in order to play because it just wont load properly to Origin or FB. I have been in touch with Apple to request a refund not because of the money but Ill be darned if I pay for something that gives me that much pain. Fix this mess or put it back to the earlier version! Thank you with all my heart. L. Glidden I had this working for 2 days; I deleted my purchased app then loaded the free one, connected to both FB & Origin. Left the game open then held down the home button the the shutting down button at the same time, when my iPad booted up it was still there. I then loaded the paid app and did the same thing and it worked. I thought this was great so I didnt shut down the app when I shut down my iPad for the night and it loaded the app was still there when I turned on my iPad the next day. I thought I had found part of the solution but unfortunately when I closed down my iPad at the end of the day it went back to the same old, same old.....where I have to delete and reload the app each day in order to play and leave it running in the background. I talked extensively with Apple about this and it is an effort in futility to even call them again unless I request a refund but I hate the ads so will not use the free one. I still feel that we are being ignored by EA in not getting a fix for this. Sad to take away the fun of playing a great game. Laura Glidden

I play this version of Scrabble every day, Im addicted. Today when I opened it I was confronted with a blank grey screen. Ive tried several times and will keep trying but so far I cant play my favorite game! Very frustrating! Please help! Cindy

The app seems completely broken - my games are gone except for one and that one shows up as a "mystery" game, no details on who is playing and missing the last play made by my opponent. The "refreshing games" just cycles and cycles. Whats up?

In order to access my games, I have to constantly delete and reinstall. To his a real pain. And yes I have rebooted my iPad ... that doesnt help.

This does not always happen, but sometimes when I am playing a game with two maven opponents, at the end of the game I go out first and yet the extra tiles are not added to my score but from one of the maven opponents to the other. There has got to be a faulty algorithm in there somewhere. Also I agree with the other reviewer that the sound reduction should be fixed. I oftenlike to play scrabble while listening to music.

I love to play Scrabble. Its the only online game that I play. Its been an awesome app! It seems that lately, though, that it doesnt seem to want to open. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Seems to work fine for a while, and then it starts glitching out again. Its very frustrating.

Scrabble has gotten so glitchy, go for Words with Friends. I paid for the ad free download and its not good.

May 2017; parts of letters in words disappear....requiring a reboot or a new app download . This occurs at least once every other day!!! You work on a word for nothing if you dont notice some letters missing ! This game gets worst everyday! Since the latest update it has become increasingly slow to load! I have reinstalled it several times. Its always a little better for a few days and then horribly SLOW! Take away all the stupid gimmicks that came with the lastest update and get back to being a good game. 1/17: its getting better, but sometimes it leaves out words that have already been played, then it requires a reboot or if necessary a total delete and re download! If it it gets miserably slow the same action may be required.

I play a move and the next time I load it, it doesnt load the games, it just keeps trying to refresh. I delete and reinstall it and I can play until the next time I open it when it doesnt work again. Ive told my scrabble friends that Ive quit playing until the next update come out. PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER

I have had to delete and re-download the app 4 times in the past few weeks. It is a pain. When the game works, it is great.

Update: still randomly allowing nudge and force forfeit, or not. Some games now at days without the option. Also hanging up and forcing me to restart my iPad to undo the perpetual spinning wheel. Board movement is better, however. The newest upgrade is awful, frankly. Movement on the board used to be smooth, now its awkward. Look is not an improvement either. I love Scrabble, but each upgrade gets worse. I remember waaaaay back when the dictionary would even provide definitions. Rethink!...a month later...gotten more used to the clunky new design, or more resigned. Sometimes, the board doesnt respond, sometimes letters go in wrong places. Scrolling through games was once easy. Whatever the new platform is, they need another. Update: some improvement but games allowed to linger with the other player not playing. I had to complain when in half my games a week went by, even more, without being able to nudge, or force a forfeit if Id managed to get a nudge cue. Now the same thing is happening again. Update: once again, games languish, no nudge prompt. Such a simple seeming thing, why cant they get it together?

Please fix connection issues! I love this game, but I keep having to delete and reinstall it.

Couldnt use the program for ages but deleted it and downloaded the current version. Seems good.
