Anyone else not able to log in? Does not recognize email or password that I know are correct. Can sign into Origin web site just fine.

I had deleted Scrabble off my iPad some time ago, but forgot why so I re downloaded it tonight. First game in, and now I remember. Every time I play a word, I get a pop-up telling me I had the "best word" and it asks if I want to share it. Are you kidding me? It takes a special kind of pathetic to share trivial BS like this. All these pop ups drag down the game play, as do the animations. Its all ridiculous. Off the app is coming, never to return.

Needs a way to tie in to the scrabble dictionary app

Overall I really like this app and have not experienced glitches described by some of the other reviewers. However, there is an irritating new feature that is hard to describe, but I will try. In the past I could place a word on the board without playing it and then go to the "dictionary" to verify spelling. Upon returning to the board my word would still be where I left it. YAY! However, following a recent update, when I place a word (without playing it) go to the dictionary and return to the board the game re-shows the last word played by the computer (with all the tiles falling into place followed by the score) and then all the tiles from my unplayed word rapidly leave the board and return to the tray. This is frustrating because I do not need or care to see a replay of the last word played by the game. Even more so and its annoying to have to replace my tiles on the board in the exact same place.

September 2017 The latest version seems more stable, load times have not been has bad. But it is too early to tell for sure. Notifications have been broken for years now. They only update if you actually open the game which means they are useless. What is so hard about this? Most other apps do notifications flawlessly. I will give this latest version a few more weeks, if I do not have to reload and it does not hang when loading I may bump my review up a few stars. I would go to 5 stars if they would fix notifications and do not break anything else. Oh yeah, and I sure would like to seem the moves list for at least a little while after the game has ended. This is another thing that used to work but is now broken. May 2017 Still broken. Still needs constant reloading from the app store. Still no notification. Clunky interface. Slow to load. Latest update April2017 Notifications are still broken. Still have to delete and re-install weekly. Each update breaks MORE things. This game worked much better a year ago. Wish I could give zero or negative stars. Latest update Feb2017 Notifications have stopped working. Once a game has completed I can no longer see the moves list or read the chat log. Still have to re-install occasionally, and still taking way too long to load and connect. The amount of data that needs to be exchanged between the server and the app is trivial. WHY is this app so slow? Review down to one star, since the latest updates broke more things than they fixed. Latest update Nov2016 Game hangs waiting for updates. I have to delete it and reinstall every couple of weeks. Latest update 1May2016: The program is still a resource pig, I have to shut all other apps on my iPad to get it to load. It still takes a long time to load... odd since this is a dedicated app with local storage. It would be nice to be able to see the moves list after the game ends. The moves list become inaccessible as soon as someone goes out. Update on the latest version. The network is much better now, I have increased my rating by one star. The app seems to be a pig, I have to close most other apps on my ipad to get it to load. I do not like the new trash talking notifications, a simple "such and such has played" would do. The screen seems cluttered, and I do not like the board sliding back and forth. I wish they would quit changing the fonts, they are not bad, but they are no better. I find the constant tweaking annoying. ---- This is an update to my old review. The network issues are getting bad so I have removed 3 stars. The app takes a long time to "update" nearly every time I open it. It often will not connect with Facebook to retrieve current games without multiple tries. Lastly, the app crashes instantly on my iPad Air unless I have nearly every other app is closed. Scrabble is not a complicated game to run on a computer and the amount of server data is minimal. What the heck is this app doing? The pop up ads on the paid version are gone for now, so I have added several more stars to my rating. There are several minor issues that still need work. I was unable to play with friends outside the USA last time I tried. The licensing folks need to work some sort of deal to allow this. Notifications and player status do not always automatically update for some reason. I do not understand the "muting" of the chat feature, this is lawyer stuff I am sure, but I told the app my age so the mute should not be on be default. The dev team seems to break as much stuff as they fix, the design team seems to improve about as much stuff as they ruin. But after years, they finally have a fairly well polished app. I will give it five stars in hopes that they leave it alone! ------ The app itself is quite good. I like the teach mode, computer game play is good, I like the ability to select dictionaries and I love playing with friends, family, and even random opponents. I wish it had the ability to bluff, but I understand the difficulty of implementing such a feature. The reason for the low rating is the pop up ads that started with the last update. I bought the paid version to avoid the pop up ads. I feel cheated. I would also add that it has recently been unavailable for two weeks.

Refreshing games list just sits and hangs up on my iPad Pro, fix the blooming thing, for crying out loud. Update: No change on iPad, iPhone works just fine. tried various suggestions as well.

The following has been fixed.....Lately it frequently just sits there with the gear spinning..... I have had to reload frequently...also on one game letters missing.

A pleasure to use. Updated review. March 2017 update has rendered my iPad version unusable except for the play against the computer version. Sept 2017. Playable again.

The game cheats. It gave itself 50 points more then it should have! I had it repeat the move over 5 times and no way should it have had 61 points. The triple score was already taken. So have I mistakenly trusted it in the past? Can I trust it in the future? Otherwise I love the game.

Playing on iPad Mini (newest OS), signed in via Origin, not Facebook. In chat, I can only type a few characters while seeing what I type, but as I continue, the text doesnt "crawl", so I cant see what Im typing. Typing blind. All user names of people I had been been playing with for months/years were replaced with "Guest####." I have to check every chat in every game to try to locate them. No more avatars, just "G" and "Y". An additional degradation in function... when I choose to re-match with a regular player, with whom I communicate, it initially shows as "Random Opponent", instead of their "Guest#", until they play a word, so very difficult to keep track. I cant search for friends. This feature became completely non-functional a long time ago. My daughter got the Scrabble App, and even though we have each others user names, we cant search, invite or play with each other. Very frustrating! It seems that with every update, I lose functions. So many features I had when I first purchased this game are long gone. I just dont get why the developers arent restoring these functions... truly baffled.

We have not been able to create a game for multiple players for quite some time. Customer service has NOT been helpful at all; asking for different information from no less than 4 different representatives. Someone new replies after each of my responses. Replied to last email with about 10 different new pieces of information and came back with notation that "this email is no longer monitored". REALLY! This is too bad as it used to be a fun game to play. Maybe someone will see this and give us some genuine help. Incident 33018005.

You used to get the computer to do 4 words a game. They took that away. The computer builds words on the inside making the game harder to play. Also the computer uses words youve never heard of, all the time. It uses words with 3 vowels in a row.

The new updates for Scrabble has fixed all the freezing and losing games. Enjoying once again!

Keeps interrupting me for a review

So now when you come out of the dictionary, you get the last word played repeated, the letters you are trying get kicked out and you have to put them in again. Also what happened to the version with the British dictionary, which was far superior with a broader vocabulary and choice of two letter words? As of September 4 the annoying auto recall issue has not been fixed. I wonder if anyone actually reads these reviews.

Notifications only come through to the last device I opened the game on. As someone who switches very frequently between an iPhone and an iPad, this is really very annoying, as it means I often miss notifications when I switch devices. None of my other apps notifications behave like this. For example, if I make a move on my iPad but then leave the house with my iPhone, leaving the iPad at home, I dont get any of my notifications on the iPhone unless I launch the app on there first. But since I only open up the app when I have a move to play (and get a notification), thats a problem. Also, notifications never come through on my Apple Watch at all, even though I have notifications for that app set to mirror on my watch from my iPhone. So please fix this for good. Ive been having notifications issues with this app for ages and its really making me not want to use this app anymore, as much as I love the game itself.

Have been playing Scrabble for over 50 years and love the game, but have my misgivings about your version because the letters are not distributed randomly. After 50 years of playing, I know what random looks like, and your game is definitely not random. It takes a lot away from an otherwise pleasing and challenging game. An experienced player

This game is a great deal better than the free game and i enjoy it greatly. If it were not for the dictionary, which is really lacking, this would be a clear 5-star
