SCRABBLE Premium for iPad App Reviews

Ive had Scrabble HD for years and have never had a problem. Apparently the manufacturer decided to fix something that wasnt broken and updated the game as of today, April 10. Now it wont open. Dont bother buying this version until you know its been fixed. Okay, heres an update as of August, 2017. The problems I referred to above have been resolved pretty well, so thank you Scrabble people. But I do have another complaint and Im wondering if others have had the same experience. It seems that one of the many "behind the scenes improvements" made by the Scrabble editors has changed my English dictionary by refusing to accept at least 1/3 of the previously accepted words. As a result, my latest version is not nearly as much fun to play. In addition, my husband supposedly has the same version on his Ipad but he has the full dictionary of acceptable words that I used to have. So apparently his Ipad was never updated (and I checked his App Store and it doesnt appear that there is any update currently available for his version). Whats going on?

Finally deleted and reloaded App, and now it always restarts, with friends, but slow .. which is ok and better than it was for a while! Origin used to notify me when another has played and add a number to app symbol on the iPad home page, alerting me to play. No longer. After play, I look at new tiles and organise into next good word. Next time app is started, all tiles are jumbled and my hard work is gone ... hard on seniors with memory issues.

Its ok is the best I can say. I play cause friends want me to. Frustrating when words accepted arent really words.

why is it that every time I want to play this game, it takes 25-30-mins. to load, and I have to go thru FB every time and then it crashes, extremely frustrating and why is there a pop up add after every turn, both Scrabble Apps., do the same thing, why do I have to play another game like Cribbage, before Scrabble will let me have another turn, Im playing with another person, and it takes me 1-hour, because this game wont let me play another turn? BS

Here we go again!!! Now, cannot play a random game, this is crazy. I play Words with friends also, and never had these issues. It seems you have somewhat fixed the connection issues, and now cant play a random game. Please work on all of your issues, this is not right, been going on for years. I wrote the previous in July, it is now the 5th of August, and still cannot start a random game. Please fix this!!!

I am a learning to play and get better and this app helps me do that.

Continuing problems with game freezing up and having to delete and reload....I figured that out by chance. Please add that to instructions for problem solving !! Otherwise awesome display and dictionary !

Better than expected.

App is a little better, but I need to log into Origin daily to play those games. During the recent bug-ridden version, I lost my favorite Scrabble opponent. She wont play anymore.

I like playing this game and I really miss it! I havent been able to open it for months now. I get as far as refreshing games list but that process never completes. Ive tried everything that used to work, mostly uninstall and reboot. I thought my latest IOS update might fix this but no joy. I guess I still got my moneys worth cuz it mostly worked for a couple of years? Im double frustrated cuz the free version is crashing a lot, too?

I love Scrabble but this game is rigged. I get most of the is every game and very few of the es. Once in awhile, I would understand, but not every game. Also just went through six hands in a row with only consonants. Game needs to be fixed so your tiles are truly random.

Scrabble has become a daily habit for me. After dinner I start my games between friends on face book and two or three random opponents. I had one person from England that played every day for a year and we would chat back and fourth. I look forward to playing the game more than watching tv or reading ( which I also enjoy) Thank you for keeping it going!!!!! Carol

Ever since the new iOS update came out the paid version crashes after every turn. They seemed to be able to update/fix the free version. Why not the paid version? So very frustrating.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OPTIONS FOR DIFFERENT COLORED TILES AND BOARDS!

Hate all the bugs.

We keep several games going at once. Good way to spend time with those miles away.
