SCRABBLE Premium for iPad App Reviews

Update: I’ve tried the steps listed in the developer response and found no solution. I also cannot email support as I entered my EA account info and was told that my password was invalid. I tried resetting it and never got the reset password email. This is beyond frustrating. The issue is still there: if you use Scrabble Premium on the iPhone and iPad, notifications only come through to the device last used, not both. This is extremely annoying for those of us who use both devices. It should not be a difficult thing to fix and is ridiculous that this issue has been ongoing for so long. Please just fix it - users shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get stupid problems like this fixed. Notifications only come through to the last device I opened the game on. As someone who switches very frequently between an iPhone and an iPad, this is really very annoying, as it means I often miss notifications when I switch devices. None of my other apps notifications behave like this. For example, if I make a move on my iPad but then leave the house with my iPhone, leaving the iPad at home, I dont get any of my notifications on the iPhone unless I launch the app on there first. But since I only open up the app when I have a move to play (and get a notification), thats a problem. Also, notifications never come through on my Apple Watch at all, even though I have notifications for that app set to mirror on my watch from my iPhone. So please fix this for good. Ive been having notifications issues with this app for ages and its really making me not want to use this app anymore, as much as I love the game itself.

Scrabble denied "Satan" as a word.

If you have an iPad and iPhone with this app just be prepared to login every single day. This app does not save your login info. 01/2018 and still not working. I guess they don’t care or it’s impossible to fix.

This is a great game. Have enjoyed it for years.

The Scrabble app has got worse with each ‘improvement’. Biggest loss was the bluetooth option for local play. I don’t understand why you don’t reinstate this or at least allow local play on an individual wifi system. It appears you do not care about the customers who don’t want to use Facebook.

Not an easy update to get on a new device, but it was worth it in the end.

One of the things I absolutely hate is if your opponent doesnt make a play, they can drag it out for 24 hours. If they still dont have a single tile that will work out of the 7 they have after you nudge, they again play the 24 hour game. Really? This needs to be worked on. Ive been involved in the same game for close to 4 days now! In understand people have jobs, but they certainly can make a play within 24 hours!

Looking at EA’s website, this appears to be a known problem since January 2016. Why would I buy anything else from EA?

Wow, finally got posted. EA developers....aren’t you tired of less than stellar reviews? You should know what to do. Also, why can’t I play my Scrabble unless I update it? Provide better updates and it wouldn’t be an issue. So EA responds and doesn’t answer my question....why is it necessary to update the app or no play? When the update has a high rating I will gladly update.

After trying the ad version of the app, I decided to purchase the ad free version. While the app is fun to play, it does freeze up occasionally. Waiting it out doesn’t help. I have to close and relaunch the app, thus losing my current game. Need a bug fix!

I bought this to play with a friend who isn’t on FB. There isn’t a way to type in a name after registering with EA!! Refund please

Still too many bugs to clear up. Very frequent screen freezing up and losing turn when it denies the word. When you go back to same screen in same turn the space you used before is gone. So frustrating to lose points unnecessarily. My screen keeps freezing right after I play a word. I keep deleting the game and re downloading it. Did that now and it won’t finish downloading. This is extremely frustrating and no one even responds about our complaints.

I am adding my complaints to go along with others you have received. I can log in through Facebook but cannot access any friends because your Start a new game does not open to be able to type in a friend name (no keyboard) As I paid for this game and have been using it with only a little glitch here and there, which have fixed fairly quickly till now. So Im wondering why you are not fixing this. If it is not going to be fixed then I would appreciate getting my money back asap. I can switch over to playing Words with Freinds. Please try to get this game fixed!!!

After the initial move I’ve sat there for over 15min waiting, and nothing. I wind up having to forfeit the game.

I like scrabble! This version on the iPad is a great way to play!

What happened? I got a new iPad and downloaded my premium version from the cloud and low and behold there is an ad for some idiot game after every play I make. I have searched everywhere and there is no way to stop these. HELP!!!

Will not let me connect to Facebook

My sister and I have played Scrabble online for years, great way to stay connected and keep the mind engaged in words! Love it!

The mandate of using Facebook for games if more than 3 players is not only inconsiderate but reflective of over-reliance and overly controlling social media. I have friends who are octogenarians who do not have and do not want Facebook accounts. Even I don’t want to be forced to be more exposed on Facebook just to enjoy multiplayer games that in the past didn’t require a social media component. Why is this now required when it wasn’t in the past. I periodically check to see if this has been changed. Sadly it hasn’t. At least give options for non Facebook users.
