The one you pay for is perfect. The one you get for free is same game but is interrupted by advertisements after every move.

I love to play. But so much has changed since I first paid for this game. I cannot make new "friends", nor can I find old friends anywhere. And the nudge and force forfeit have both disappeared. At least I do not have to continue to delete and then reload anymore. But please fix other glitches. I get very tire of playing just random opponents. None of my past games show up for review. Words with Friends is so much better. All the few "friends" I do have complain all the time as well. Pay attention here.

Every update makes it worse. Cant ever get to play when they only let you have 2 games on at a time. Useless app. Dont waste your money. Now whenever I open my iPad I have 10 messages from this app. Totally irritating. Im stopping playing games.

This app has gradually worsened from the early version I purchased. I love the game but resent the constant requests to rate the app and the sluggish starts as it tries to connect online instead of recognizing my usual offline use. It also interrupts play to ask you to post on Facebook following 50 bonus. The app needs options to turn off these annoying features especially since it wasnt cheap when it first appeared on the first iPad.

Such a great game and well replicated on the iPad. Been playing for years and is well worth the app! Good job!

We use the off line version whenever we travel. It helps us past the time on long flights and when waiting to board. At home we play and pass by the fire on rainy days. Great app!

Cant nudge or force forfeit old games any more. Logging out and back in used to work sometimes but now doesnt fix the issue. Some friends are now hard to identify because they are only a random opponent number now. I get challenges from people I cant identify. This used to be a great app but keeps getting worse I now have very old games that I cant delete unless I forfeit.

I consistently play with two longtime friends as a way to stay in touch. We typically play two games each so I have a total of four games going at all times. Did not like the most recent update, changes to Teacher were a mistake, but it wont keep me from playing. Still playing my two long distance friends. Hate when the app doesnt work which is not often, but ruins my day when it does.

Ok, it is abundantly clear you DONT READ THE REVIEWS!! You want 5 stars? Read, not just my review, but all of them. You ARE NOT LISTENING!! Please, for the love of all that is good and pure, quit interrupting my game to get me to give you five stars!!! This new update is a red-hot mess!! If it aint broke dont fix it folks! Most annoying that you beg for a review every time I play. Wish I could give less than one star

I would like to be able to see the letters on my rack in alphabetical order. Also it would be nice to use the official Scrabble word list. Keep trying you are getting there.

Love this game. Im addicted. However there are too many kinks that need to be fixed. Thus the loss of the fifth star.

The recent upgrades have made the game playable again . Hope e upgrades continue. Love he game but ha seen prone to major issues for a long time .

It shows no friends, even though we are both logged into Facebook via Scrabble. No friends listed means no way to play against others unless we choose random.

Overall I really like this app and have not experienced glitches described by some of the other reviewers. However, there is an irritating new feature that is hard to describe, but I will try. In the past I could place a word on the board without playing it and then go to the "dictionary" to verify spelling. Upon returning to the board my word would still be where I left it. YAY! However, following a recent update, when I place a word (without playing it) go to the dictionary and return to the board the game re-shows the last word played by the computer (with all the tiles falling into place followed by the score) and then all the tiles from my unplayed word rapidly leave the board and return to the tray. This is frustrating because I do not need or care to see a replay of the last word played by the game. Even more so and its annoying to have to replace my tiles on the board in the exact same place.

Play every day with friends and on my own. Maintains my vocabulary and keeps life interesting ! Love it with the grand kids too...we all learn !

Trouble with nudging and force forfeiting still after weeks of playing.

This version is still not as good as the one before the all the crap starting going on. Issues: 1. Origin keeps logging out. I didnt have the issue before. Please fix. 2. Please show the user names. Not their real names but their login names like it used to do. 3. We used to be able to invite people who were not in our contacts to play. Please add this back. There doesnt appear to be any way to add or remove Origin contacts otherwise. I have lost some regular opponents after the last version fiasco because of not being able to rematch or re-invite them to a new game. Im very annoyed by this. 4. Please restore the swipe over for the game list instead of switching screens, again like it used to be. Same with the dictionary. The current method is just tedious. 5. Please please please stop the intro screen every time switching back to the game app? Every time I switch out to another app and back, Id just like to continue where I left off without being reminded about your big logo. You guys used to have a great UI. Why did you change it?

Am constantly having to delete ap and reload it. Love the game but there are always so many glitches
