Locked out of review process

Wow, finally got posted. EA developers....aren’t you tired of less than stellar reviews? You should know what to do.

Also, why can’t I play my Scrabble unless I update it? Provide better updates and it wouldn’t be an issue.

So EA responds and doesn’t answer my question....why is it necessary to update the app or no play? When the update has a high rating I will gladly update.
